I would agree with all the other negative reviews on this washer. If it were possible, I would give it negative-stars!

This machine has been a thorn in my side since we bought it in 2003, when we built our new home. I wish I could have my old washer back from our old home - and that was headed for the dump when my husband salvaged it! Old junker with a broken knob. I had to use a channel-lock to turn the knob post. I would trade that for this beautiful Calypso that works horribly.

Yes, you can save energy, but at the cost of your clothes. Had this machine for nearly 3 years now. It wasn’t cheap because it was brandishing “Green” with its water saving acclamations…

Do not believe it. The water amount is not enough to get some detergents out of your clothes in one cycle, so you have to run the machine a second time to rinse out any leftover suds.

I really like Kitchen Aid products. I own alot of KA products from cookware to an architect series range. I recently moved into this house and to my surprise it didn’t have a dishwasher. SO I sacrificed some cupboard space and put in a space for a dishwasher. I didn’t intend to purchase a KA dishwasher, but it was nice and it matched my range… not to mention I really like KA quality.

So far, I really like the job its doing. Its incredibly quiet and all my dishes come out sparkling.

Think My Bissell 7920 is a lemon from the factory. Or it is not a good product! It has never worked right. My big mistake was buying it, before I moved to our new home, so did not use it the 1st year, as my carpet was all new.

The only time it worked was the 1st time I used it, it has never worked right. I even replaced parts that didn’t need replacing. Flow wheel doesn’t turn. It acts like it wants to turn. It won’t let water spray out. I followed all book directions. Still doesn’t work. I think it has something to do with the switch in the handle not making contact.

Bought this a month ago and have run several dozen loads.

No buyers remorse, but between the buy and the install I read a few complaints that beared out after I used the machine.

First, the machine, dropped into a space where another was built in, was nowhere near as quiet as in the store. I think this is partly due to the store, as theres more room for noise to disperse and probably more “white noise” in the background. Also, in the store you can install the machine “optimally”… so it makes sense what you hear in the store is the best case scenario. This machine is still half as loud as my old, crappy amana. You can stand next to it while running and not change the loudness of your voice. It isnt as silent in a “less than perfect” install, but thats not the makers fault.

When we moved to our new home my wife made comments about all of the old, left behind appliances the previous owners did not take. Some of them were not so bad, so we kept them until we could find new ones that we really liked. We made due with a GE refrigerator for a while, but it needed to be upgraded fast (according to my wife).

Personally, I like gas appliances. While savings are really not an issue these days, they just seem to take a beating and present few service issues, in my experience.

From time to time we come upon a property that needs a gas stove replaced and depending on the space we have to work in, I like the space savings a cook top and built in oven offer. Recently we outfitted a unit with the General Electric JGRS06BEJ Oven which proved to be one of the better appliance finds we have made to date on account of a quantity discount we took advantage of from a retailer that was moving operations to another location.

This is, without a doubt, the best grill I have ever owned. While expensive, it has all the features you can ever use, at half the price of grills by Viking, Wolfe and DCS. In fact, those high end grills lack features of this grill.
