I have had this vacuum for a year now and I love it. It replaced my Sears Kenmore which at the time had a higher rating on Consumer reports.

This vacuum does a great job of picking up the hair that is left all over the house by my Shelties.

Some of the cons I read about before purchasing this vacuum was the noise level and awkwardness of tilting the handle back for use. I do not have an issue with either of these. It is not louder than my previous vacuum. Most vacuums have a lever at the back you can step on to lower the handle. With this one, you have to step on the front of the vacuum and tilt the handle back. I can see why this might be an issue for some people but it is not for me. I am 5′6″ and I have no problem reaching my foot to the front and tilting the handle back. It did take “some getting use to” but I do not think twice about it now.

I love the bagless feature. I had no idea how fast it can fill up. Either this vacuum picks up a lot more than my previous one or I severely underestimated the length of time between bag changes. I empty it outside as a lot of dust flies out when cleaning it out.

The one thing I am disappointed about is the attachments. At first I thought “great, look at all of these” but I don’t find any of them all that great. The attachments do not pick up the dog hair as well as the vacuum does. I use a hand held for the stairs as this just doesn’t do the job for me. It does seem to do a decent job under my parrot cage with picking up seeds and pellets she loves to throw out of the cage. Attachments pick up debris well, hair not so well.

I am happy with this purchase.
