I bought a KURV a while back and I’ve been using it for about two months now. In that time, I’ve found that I don’t use it quite as often as I thought I would, but I do love the way it looks. It’s a good thing, too, considering that the shape means I have no choice but to leave it out somewhere. You definitely can’t mount it on the wall.

Since there are birds in my house, a lot of crumbs hit the floor. I can imagine that anyone with kids would have the same issue. For picking up crumbs, the KURV is great. I wouldn’t ask it to do much more, though, as that’s clearly not what it’s intended for. For bigger jobs, I’ll simply get out a real vacuum cleaner.

As far as design is concerned, the curvy lines of the KURV have been a hit with everyone who visits. Not everyone has realized that it is a small appliance, and some people have mistaken it for some kind of speaker system.

The suction on the KURV is good, but it could be better. It works quite well on carpeted surfaces, but it does seem to have a little more trouble on couches and hardwood. It’s a little messy to empty the dirt cup, but as long as you do it over a trashcan, you’ll be just fine.
