We bought this washer/dryer combo about 6 months ago and we have been surprisingly happy with it’s performance. We use less detergent and the biggest surprise was the reduction in our electricity bill. We are saving close to $30.00 per month. So although I paid close to $2300.00 walking out the door, I will recoup some of that money the longer I use this washer. I like the delay timer and I like how quite the unit is. My clothes seem just as clean as when I used a full washer and dryer and the dryer seems to be less harsh on my clothes.

We are moving into a small condo, and saving space was a priority for us. We only have space for a stackable washer/dryer in our new place so we decided to get this unit to allow us to reclaim part of the utility closet for storage space.

Since, the dry cycle takes so long, I find myself washing clothes more throughout the week. It’s not a big deal because I know how energy efficient the unit is so it’s not that painful. However, you want to time your drying of jeans so that you’re home when they’re done otherwise they will get very wrinkled.

I have not had any issues with this unit. I believe this particular model is discontinued but I see that they have 3 new models out based on this design.

After this experience, I would still buy a similar unit even if I lived in a large home. I definitely, recommend this style of washer/dryer for anyone living in an apartment or condo even if you have space for a full size washer and separate dryer.
