Swiffer Sweep Vaccum Cleaner Kit - 2 Units Vacuum

OK, as the mom of 5 the thing I hate most is floor care. The thing my kids like most is floor care it seems. You see, piles of dirt waiting for the dustpan (or buckets for mopping) seem to be fun to play in. I tried stick brooms but they only got up the big stuff and the brush head would get in the way, collecting debris. I saw this repeatedly advertised but I kept equating it to a stick broom so never tried it. Enter in largely pregnant belly and I am tired of bending over so I dish out the $30.

What a wonder! Since the front part of the vacuum is clear, basically a shaped hole hovering above the ground, it can easily pick up debris. By debris I mean cracker crumbs, rogue cereal, dried mac n cheese, etc. It reminds me more of a dustbuster (my best friend) than a stick broom. The cloth is then right behind picking up the dirt, sand and dust. The cloth attaches easily by just pushing ends into holder areas. The vacuum part easily turns on with the touch of a button at the tip on your thumb on the handle. Finally a nice clean floor that didn’t require me racing toddlers to get it swept up (before they did). What adds even more value to it? A swivel head, not a little swivel but a true swivel head. It maneuvers easily with one hand in and around corners, under chairs, behind toilets, in the space between the washer and dryer and everywhere else. The swivel, it’s extremely lightweight design, and the fact it is cordless just make it so maneuverable.

There is a downside though, what it can’t do. Though it will suck up larger debris or paper this will clog it so you will have to reach your finger in to knock all the debris free to be sucked up. It is also small and light for a reason, the debris cup is petty small. I can vacuum my foyer and hall and that is about it before I have to empty it. The clothes on the other hand last quite some time, I can do my whole house and then some on a single cloth.

It stores and charges easily, it plugs into the wall which plugs easily into the vacuum portion. It then can store slide into any corner. I keep mine charging any time I am not using it so it is always ready to go.

As for sturdiness, it isn’t exactly made of steel. I wouldn’t expect something lightweight to be made of anything heavy duty. But it isn’t wobbly or flimsy feeling so I am sure it will last enough to get my moneys worth.

Despite its few flaws it really is the easiest way for my to sweep daily (and my house needs this, actually 2-3 times daily would be better).
