I bought this handheld vacuum from Target for $19.99. I have had it for about a year now. I purchased this because I have three small children, and I wanted a vacuum that would be conveniently located, and easy to pull out and put away after the kids ate and had snacks. The vacuum has a good sized spout to suck up just about any size leftover food on the floor. It also has a flip down crevice tool which comes in handy for smaller spaces. I’ve used it frequently in the corners of my dining room chairs to suck up loose crumbs. The vacuum is lightweight, cordless, and doesn’t not take up a lot room on my counter top. With all that being said, I do have some complaints. Firstly, the vacuum held a good amount of charge time during the first month of use. After that, the vacuum quickly looses momentum and a good deal of suction each minute that it is being used. I am not able to vacuum up everything that I would like to with it before I have to place it back on its charger. Secondly, the vacuum comes with a pop in filter. I thought that I would be able to purchase replaceable ones at Target, but they do not carry this filter. I looked on Dirt Devil’s website, and found that I could purchase some through them, but by the time they tack on shipping it comes out to almost $15 for one filter. I am not happy about that at all. My filter is completely filthy and needs to be changed since I’ve been using it for a year already. But I would say that it needs to be changed about every 3 months of use. I would only recommend this vacuum for quick pick up areas. I use mine only for under my dining room chairs and once in awhile I use it for the kid’s car seats. If it would hold a longer charge I would be using it more often.
