I have a puppy, which means that we have plenty of accidents that I need to clean up after… Oh the joy of owning a puppy. It is difficult to get those wet poop stains out of the carpet even with products specifically designed to lift an animal stain! I decided that I needed to get a product that could help with lifting stains. I didn’t want to pay a small fortune to get the top of the line product, but I wanted something. I went to my local market and found the Bissell Quicksteamer II.

I love my kittens. They’re sweet and playful and purr like little motors. They snuggle when they’re sleepy and spread out in a patch of sun looking like contentment personified. They also have the habit of strewing cat litter around their little room with reckless abandon, apparently relishing the feel of it beneath their feet even when they aren’t in their pans. Honestly, it’s as though they hold litter tossing contests to see who can track the most the furthest with each trip to the pan.

I wanted to like this washer, but after three years, I’m done with it.

It had almost all the features - an almost endless choice of cycles (there are 14 choices of cycles), water temps, spin speeds, a digital readout for time left, great capacity, etc. It cleaned very well in a reasonable amount of time and the spin cycle left the clothes almost dry! Having had a front loader in my old house, I knew that it can be hard on your back, so I got this one with a pedestal. What a relief!

This is the best washer %26amp; dryer set I have ever owned! Yes, it is expensive but I have no regrets. LG and Korean manufacturers are really giving the Japanese and other asian mfg’s a run for their money these days! LG (Lucky Goldstar or Life’s Good) has come a long way since its bargain Goldstar days.

This has been one of those emotional buys rather than planned. Yet, we’re happy as we can be and sometime a good value doesn’t have to be cheap. Blame the “leap year sales” if you must, but it was the main reason for extending our search to this model. At the offered price of $1800, this was a great deal compared to the $2700 MSRP. But price isn’t everything and this particular model from GE has a few features that may make it worthwhile — though not essential.

IN A NUTSHELL

We upgraded to our GE Refrigerator when we moved and have found it to be a solid, consumer-friendly, and attractive appliance for its price.

This is a portable 18 inch dishwasher. I selected this model because it had a stainless steel tub, and after some research it seemed that dishwashers with steel tubs are better. I picked sears because they deliver, and their appliances are generally affordable and reliable.

The service from sears was awful. In most cases, I wouldn%26rsquo;t describe the service unless I was reviewing a store, but Kenmore products can only be bought from Sears. When I made the order over the internet they refused to let me choose or change the delivery date. I was forced to take time off work, despite the fact that I had the next day off. The delivery people did not unpack the dishwasher or show me how to hook it up to the sink. I was later told that this service cost $10, but it wasn%26rsquo;t offered.

This handy machine comes with: three presser feet (regular, zipper, buttonholes), a darning plate, three bobbins, a needle set, an extra spool pin, and a screwdriver. I found all three very nifty, and quite honestly I wasn’t expecting goodies so I found the amount of little freebies they could stuff into a tiny plastic bag and hide in the storage compartment of the flat bed compartment quite impressive.

The sewing went reasonably well. One major issue I had was the thread looping itself around the bobbin case now and then and tangling.
