My first introduction to the Rainbow Vacuum was back in about 1975. My mom agreed to a home demonstration. For a child of the depression to be sold on a $1000 vacuum, it has to be good! 33 years later, it’s still going strong. I tried to get her to purchase a new one so I could have her “old” one. She just laughed & laughed! Good luck! She said she’d leave it to me in her will, but, if my sister wants it, since she’s the oldest daughter, she will probably get it!

There are so many great reviews here, I’ll try to add something different.

I’ve had asthma all my life and this is the first machine I’ve been able to use without having an asthma attack in over 12 years. We have two dogs and a lot of dust flying into the house. My husband had been vacuuming, but that’s like saying an 8 year old vacuumed. He’s great in a lot of ways, but vacuuming is not his strong suit.

My daughter had a Hoover vacuum that she had for a few years, a friend of hers referred her name to the Rainbow Sales Representative when she had her home demonstration, so my daughter agreed to having the representative come to her home to give his sales pitch for the Rainbow Series E S 12 Vacuum Cleaner. as a favor to her friend to get credit.

The outgoing young man who had come knocking at the door one Sunday morning focused on showing all that this machine can do. My son-in-law was so intrigued with all the features, that he didn’t care what the cost of this vacuum was he wanted one for his family. He made a Sale.
